Our Story

Rooted in Foster Care.
Built for Community.

Battle Belles Community Behavioral Health Services was founded on more than forty years of direct family experience in foster care and child welfare services across Illinois and Arizona. That lived history — the placements, the transitions, the gaps in support that families and youth face — is the founding story of everything we do.

We exist because we have seen firsthand what happens when young people age out of systems without life skills, when parents don't have the tools to stay connected, and when communities lack the consistent, relationship-based support that actually moves the needle. BBCBHS was built to fill that gap.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Surprise, Arizona, we hold an active Arizona Supreme Court AOC contract serving rural counties through virtual delivery, and we provide in-person programs throughout the West Valley. Our approach centers life skills, mentoring, and family strengthening — practical, relationship-driven support for youth ages 14–24 and the families and communities around them.
